Convert Those Old Cassette Tapes

Think of all of the money I could have saved on CD’s and iTunes. I could be rocking out to Bon Jovi New Jersey right now. The technology is awesome, but beware, it is not so easy to install. First of all, it is not an external drive, you must install this into a tower, so laptop users, you are out of luck.Â
It fits into a 5.25 inch bay just like an internal CDR drive. If you are keen on doing installs, the product will work for you, but if you are someone who utilizes tech support often, I wouldn’t attempt it. It does come with a wealth of manuals and installation info, but don’t expect right out of the box ease of use. It took me a while to get it going, keep in mind, I am not a whiz. Once this drive is up and running though,  you can convert your cassette tapes to CD’s, MP3’s or just play the music through you PC speakers. In addition, the Plusdeck is only compatible with Windows operating systems, Linux and Mac users will have to wait for another version.  All said and done, this product is definately more of a fun/novelty item. I would love to see it put out in an external form that is compatible with other operating systems.
