You can sync it with your email server and it will notify you when you have email, your Ebay account and it will monitor your auctions for you, it scrolls stock quotes, the weather in your area, the music thats playing on your PC, instant messeges and more.   The best part is that you can get this information all at once. All information is real time! The device is pretty intuitive actually, and the fact that you can monitor auctions is really a great feature, especially if you are an Ebay junkie like myself and want to monitor several auctions at once.Â
The only drawbacks for me are that you have to dig a little bit to get the information programmed in initially. The device does not promt set-up. Although it does automatically start scrolling the tracks you are listening to on your media player. Another drawback for me is the large cord, hopefully down the line Pertelian will make a wireless version. The device does not come with software, as Pertelian updates it so frequently.  In order to download the software, you to log onto thier website. If you are interested in seeing a live demo of the product log onto www.pertelian.com
