I am a fan

Does the temperature in your office always feel off? If you are like me, you are always drifting from arctic freeze to menopausal hot flash with little in between. I may have found the solution for the perpetually warm office dweller: the Kensington Mobile USB Flyfan. Kensington Flyfan This device is approximately 1 foot long and plugs in to your computer's USB drive. In fact, that is the only system requirement, a USB port. No power source, software or on/off button necessary. It is sturdy and bendable so that the user can mold it into any direction they desire. The fan blade itself is soft and plyable so the user does not run the risk of injuring themselves, and there is almost no sound generated by the device to distract you from your tasks. The air stream is enough so that the user feels cool, but is not blasted out of her seat. The one drawback to this product: the fan is not long enough to use with a desktop. At work, my tower resides on the floor by my feet... the fan is not long enough to reach me. I would love to use this product where I need it most. Hopefully it will come handy in my home office this summer when I am trying to save on energy! Would you like us to review your technology related product or service? Request a review.

I do not have a flat screen

I do not have a flat screen monitor, I have a laptop..I was going to buy a hub, but, as I test devices, more and more of them are telling me not to plug into a hub...I would love to be able to charge my ipod, plug in some peripherals and be able to be on the internet all at once...I think the universe is telling me to buy a new computer...real dilemma? or excuse to go shopping?

Tara, do you have a flat

Tara, do you have a flat screen monitor? A lot of them these days have USB ports on the side - that's how I plug in my iPod for easy access.

Good call, I will have to try

Good call, I will have to try that out...especially at home where we have 8 million things going in at once in the office.

A solution that I've employed

A solution that I've employed for easy access to such accessories is a USB hub that sits on my desk; these hubs usually come with very long cords so that you can connect them to your desktop.

I agree with you in regards

I agree with you in regards to how ideal this product would be in the office enviornment, however, my computer tower resides underneath my desk as well, and the cord would not be long enough on the product to ensure effective use.
